Würth Cultural Center
Würth Cultural Center contains a theatre with 241 seats, promoting activities which are open to the public from the neighborhood, besides a “multipurpose” square for art and craft exhibitions, a bar, meeting-rooms, which can be rented by companies and 41 apartments/flats as support for events and shows. The building which contemplates the infrastructure was concluded in December 2007, to be a convention and coexistence Center to the Würth do Brasil employees, but on account of the worldwide commitment that the group has with art and culture, the area was adapted to house cultural events and to enter the national shows route.
In addition to the performances and shows which the Company brings to the region, Würth counts with the support of Cotia District City Hall, with the aim of carrying cultural activities out with pupils from the city. The initial plan is to attend around 18 thousand students from the elementary school of 109 District public schools.
Art in the Würth Group – The support to art and culture is spread throughout Würth operation, due to the passion for the theme by the son of the Group’s founder, the German Reinhold Würth. He has a private collection of 14 thousand masterpieces, which are available for visit in two museums from Germany. Beside this, and since 1999, art galleries have been opened by the companies from the Group in Europe. The branches from Austria, Belgium, Denmark, The Netherlands, France, Italy, Holland, Norway, Spain and Switzerland, all keep local art galleries, allowing for an inspiring coexistence and the interaction between art and the everyday business.
